The late Walt Kelly’s comic strip character Pogo famously opined, “We have met the enemy, and he is us.” Bestselling author and political commentator David Horowitz proves Pogo’s point masterfully in his latest book, “Final Battle: The Next Election Could Be the Last.”

Horowitz asserts that the Democrat Party is the real danger to democracy as they continue chipping away at the foundation of our constitutional republic.

Alarmingly, they are closer to succeeding at remaking America than many realize.

Raised by Communist parents, Horowitz knows exactly where today’s progressives are steering America, and his book is a klaxon horn warning Americans the ship of state has passed the reefs of political fascism and is in serious danger of grounding itself on the shoals of a totalitarian future.

“When the president of the United States declares, as Joe Biden did in 2019, that ‘systemic racism…has been built into every aspect of our system,’ he is endorsing the anti-American radicalism of critical race theorists, Black Lives Matter activists, and cultural Marxists,” Horowitz writes.

Beginning with the questionable election results of the November 2020 election, Final Battle takes readers on an instructive tour of Democrat planned destruction designed to defame America’s history and traditions, undermine the integrity of our elections, politicize our government agencies, indoctrinate the military with mandatory critical race theory instruction, and obliterate our borders by granting noncitizens voting, welfare and healthcare privileges.

Final Battle indicts events of the last three years, including the Left’s impotent response to the Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots in the summer of 2020. It also addresses the faux J6 insurrection and the sham impeachments of Trump, noting that the House impeachment managers didn’t bother delivering the second impeachment charge to the Senate until five days after Trump left office.

“In other words, Democrats were intent on removing a private citizen from an office he no longer held. This made no sense except as a perverse expression of their obsessive hatred of the man himself,” Horowitz notes in Chapter 2.

Horowitz doesn’t mince words in Final Battle, mapping out in 11 economical chapters how citizens’ constitutional rights are frequently being undermined by politicians, bureaucrats, military leaders, federal courts, government health agencies and non-governmental organizations funded by radical financiers like George Soros and Tom Steyer.

“Culture matters. In their zeal to remake the world, Democrats have ignored the consequences of their actions and the human tragedies they have caused,” he writes on the open border crisis. Calling open borders “a terrible idea,” the authors adds, “No other country of consequence has them. In their zeal to gain political power, Democrats have grossly diminished the societies they govern and the lives in their care.”

In Chapter 7’s “Reimagining the World,” Horowitz reiterates the problem with progressives’ unrealistic plans: “The chief problem with utopian schemes: the detachment from reality that comes from replacing the lessons of experience with ideological dogmas.”

Horowitz not only torches liberal cows like Black Lives Matter and the Green Agenda, he also highlights names he blames for much of the unrest the past three years, including Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Granted special recognition for his hypocrisy and disloyalty to his oath of office is Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

Two examples Horowitz noted included Milley’s analogy of comparing Donald Trump to Adolph Hitler, and his flip flopping when Trump wanted to invoke the Insurrection Act when a Black Lives Matter mob torched the Church of the Presidents in Lafayette Square. Milley belittled Trump’s request, telling the president, “When guys show up in gray and start bombing Fort Sumter, you’ll have an insurrection. I’ll let you know about it,” Milley said.

Later when Biden and Nancy Pelosi referred to January 6 as an insurrection, Milley “remained dutifully and irresponsibility silent,” Horowitz quotes two Washington Post reporters.

“That such a confused, ignorant and fanatical individual is the head of America’s military forces ought to be deeply troubling to anyone concerned not only about civilian control of the military but the security of America itself,” Horowitz writes of the four-star general who helped mastermind America’s worst military event since Pearl Harbor.

Final Battle is buttressed by 34 pages of foot notes and is written in a format that is succinct, comprehensible and reads like a novel. Horowitz has again done America a favor defending it from forces working tirelessly to transform it into another failed utopian state.

Most Admired Man Vote was Fixed: Obama

Former President Barack Obama announced today he is filing a formal protest for a vote recount of the December 29th Gallup Poll naming President Donald Trump as the Most Admired Man of 2020.

According to Gallup, President Trump beat out former President Obama 18% to 15% in a national poll conducted Dec 1-Dec 17 asking the question, “What man that you have heard or read about, living today in any part of the world, do you admire most?”

At a peaceful protest by Antifa and Black Lives Matter, Obama’s lawyers cited a wide range of voting irregularities during the poll tabulation, including suspicious mail-in ballots originating from drop boxes at Trump hotel properties, dead people voting, and the physical obstruction of Obama ballot watchers watching the counting by Russian mercenaries disguised as Georgia Democrat Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.

“In one of the most glaring examples of election fraud in this sham poll, Gallup voting was ostensibly halted the evening votes were being tabulated because of a water leak,” Obama spokesperson Chance Makers said. “Within hours we learned that the alleged problem was really just a toilet leak in the outhouse of Gallup headquarters.”

Makers also said Obama’s legal team has collected film footage of fixed polling results being hauled out from under tables after the room had been evacuated. The ballots were allegedly run through a tabulating machine several times that according to the Obama team is wirelessly connected with a web server at Proud Boys headquarters.

The server in question allegedly stored Obama votes before they were surreptiously switched to Trump using a sophisticated algorithm involving Biden syntax and Trump tweets.

Biden To Debate Self in Basement

Hidin’ Joe Biden is in a quandary.

The Commission on Presidential Debates decided without telling either candidate that it was canceling the second presidential candidate Oct 15th in Miami, Florida and going with a virtual debate format instead.

President Donald Trump criticized the commission’s decision, saying he wouldn’t participate in a virtual debate because it was a “waste of time” and the commission was doing it to protect his opponent. The president announced instead he would do a virtual town hall today on Rush Limbaugh’s nationally syndicated radio show.

Where does that leave Uncle Joe?

“I don’t know what I’ll do,” Joe Biden said from the brightly colored Fisher-Price conference table in his basement. “I’m tired of finger painting and playing Go Fish with Jill, and my campaign manager suggested we donate all my Play-Doh to college students because they think Trump is going to win in a tsunami and they knead it more than I do.

“C’mon, man,” the Democrat candidate said in exasperation while sniffing the hair of the Cabbage Patch Doll he was fondling.

A second later Biden grew thoughtful.

“Of course, all these tsunamis, hurricanes and dog faced pony soldier shortages are Donald Trump’s fault, because he’s more interested in helping his stock market friends than he is wearing a mask and protecting the American people from black women stocking store shelves and the, you know, the thing described in the Emancipation Pronunciation and the Magnum Carter.

When asked why he wouldn’t do his own virtual town hall with a nationally syndicated liberal talk show host, Biden looked like his questioner was daft.

“C’mon man, Corn Pop left the biz years ago and there isn’t anyone who could fill his shoe-bi-do-bi-do’s. Not even Vladamir Putin’s buddy, Rushian Limbaugh,” the former Vice-President spat emphatically in the mask he wore inside out and over one nostril.

When last seen the dejected former Vice-President was practicing karate chops in front of a floor length mirror and shouting, “If the Coronavirus wasn’t man enough to do the job Trump, I’ll take you out with the Kung flu moves Barack taught me. Aiyeeeee!!!

The 21 Biggest Lies About Donald Trump (and you!) – Book Review

If Kurt Schlichter’s writing style was a firearm, it would be a M134 Minigun.

The M134 fires 1 million rounds per minute, which is comparable to the number of liberal hides Schlichter routinely tans in his twice weekly column on popular conservative website Town Hall

Fans of Schlichter ‘s column who appreciate his biting wit, sarcasm and take-no-prisoners approach are in for a treat with his latest book, “The 21 Biggest Lies About Donald Trump (and you!)

In the book Schlichter splits time firing humor rounds from his rhetorical M134, but he also impresses with a literary sniper rifle firing off 21 compelling arguments as he targets and decimates liberal defamations meant to destroy President Donald J. Trump and his supporters.

A trial lawyer by trade and a conservative cape crusader by choice, the retired Army colonel who served in the Persian Gulf and Kosovo has an excellent opening salvo in his Introduction, outlining how the Left has abandoned reasoned discussion and political debate in favor of lies, defamations and hair-on-fire hyperbolism.

The problem for the soy boys, gender dyslectics and others in the greatest clown show on earth is that defamation may be an effective cudgel in the short term, but it is destined to fail long term in our constitutional republic.

Schlichter contends Democrats are playing the defamation card because it is all they have left, and his book illustrates chapter by chapter how they are all in on defaming the president, his supporters, and anything else that stands between them and their dopey socialist CHAZ/CHOP utopia.

The acerbic author argues why Trump supporters should stand their ground, refuse to apologize and bend a knee, and laugh at the audaciousness and hypocrisy of those who don’t distinguish between peaceful protests and torching federal buildings and which potty to use.

An especially hard hitting chapter is Chapter 11: “Trump Hates the Free Press.” One particular kill shot Schlichter fired was this: “When your job is to serve the citizenry and half of America hates you, you can respond in one of two days: You can realize that you’re doing something wrong or you can decide that half of America’s opinion doesn’t matter. Guess which path our media chose,” Schlichter writes.

Also caught in the Colonel’s crosshairs are establishment conservatives and assorted Never Trumpers who despise Trump because he isn’t really a political conservative – and because he kicked their arse in 2016.

“The establishment conservatives lost touch with the lived experience of millions of Americans, and as a result, they lost touch with the base,” Schlichter writes in Chapter 10: “Trump Is Not a Real Conservative. “

“By questioning Conservative, Inc. dogma, Trump brought Republicans back to what matters. He brought conservatives back to pragmatism, gut instinct, and suspicion of ideology. He got us focused on winning, delivering results for the American people, and representing the interests of the American middle class.”

In short, Trump delivered on his promises rather than write a white paper about them.

In defamation #14: ” Trump Obstructed Justice,” the author is again in full assault mode as he recalls Robert Mueller’s long-awaited testimony, and how the Captain Ahab Democrats partnered with media jackals for the purpose of using the impeachment harpoon on the Great White Trump whale.

“Mr. Impeccable Integrity fumbled and stumbled through his testimony, presenting himself like the old establishment hack he is. It was clear he was not the engineer on the investigation train. He wasn’t even the conductor. They just put him to bed in the caboose and woke him up once they pulled into the station.”

In every chapter Schlichter explains how the left’s persistent attempts to defame Trump are intended to malign his supporters with the same malicious brush. As with every Democrat action though, there is an unintended reaction and it is this: they are strengthening the bond between Trump and the “deplorables,” and they are driving independent voters and even some Democrats who don’t like the president to vote for him.

Chapter 21: “Trump Is the New Normal” includes Kurt’s personal predictions on who may carry on Trump’s unique brand of populist conservatism, followed by a thoughtful Epilogue on the pandemic of lies the Left continues to perpetuate during the China flu stew.

Everyone loves a happy ending, even an author who enjoys punching back twice as hard, so don’t skip over the encouraging Afterword with gems like this:

“They can defame us without our consent, but they can’t beat us unless we let them.”

Book Review – Blitz

The COVID-19 shutdown. A murderous arrest by a heartless cop resulting in mass riots, looting and chaos in major cities. Statues of Founding Fathers and historical figures being vandalized and toppled.

National polls that consistently show President Donald J. Trump losing to a former vice-president and senator with dementia and arguably the fewest accomplishments over a 47-year political career of any Democrat presidential candidate ever.

There are less than five months before Election Day 2020, so who can blame Trump supporters if they need a booster shot of optimism and positivity in one of the most chaotic and uncertain years in recent memory?

Conservative commentator and best selling author David Horowitz shares a snappy pep talk and more in “Blitz: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win.”

The 245-page book provides an impressive overview over 14 chapters on why the Left has tried to destroy the Trump presidency the past three years, how this unconventional president has stayed one step ahead of the mob the whole time, and why the “dude with ‘tude” is not only going to win re-election, he’s going to do it by beating these miscreants at their own game.

A central question throughout Blitz is why do the Democrats and their media acolytes hate Trump so much? Blitz provides the reasons why, and two of the main ones are mentioned in Chapter 1: The Trump Threat.

“A Trump presidency would dismantle the ‘fundamental transformation’ of America they thought they had put in motion during the eight years of the Obama administration,” Horowitz writes.

If failing to accept the results of the 2016 election isn’t bad enough, Horowitz cites another reason why Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is far more widespread than COVID-19 could ever be.

“Trump was not only not one of them, he was their worst nightmare – disrespectful toward everything they stood for – politically incorrect,” he says.

Progressives cannot stand the fact that the President of the United States could care less what they think. Even worse (for them), he hits back twice as hard as they punch.

How organized is the “Resistance to” Trump? In Chapter 2 (Divide, Sabotage, Resist), the former liberal tuned conservative commentator/author details how a four-day event sponsored by George Soros’s Democracy Alliance was held just five days after the 2016 election.

That fevered gathering was held to develop specific strategies on how to sabotage the new administration’s first 100 days in office.

According to Horowitz the alliance at D.C.’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel consisted of 110 billionaires who each pledged $200,000 annually to left-wing causes like Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the hopelessly corrupt Southern Poverty Law Center.

In today’s headlines you see the results of those donations: Black Lives Matter furiously stirring the racial pot, paid looters and sponsored anarchy in Minneapolis and elsewhere, and CHOP squatting in Seattle with the blessings of an impotent Washington state governor and head-in-the-clouds Seattle mayor.

Throughout Blitz Horowitz recalls how the Left went nuclear against Trump from Day One with notorious non-stop attacks, ranging from the sham Russian Collusion delusion and sabotaging efforts to secure the border, to openly calling for harassment and bullying of Trump supporters, and fast tracking a sham impeachment on laughable charges.

In chapter after chapter, Horowitz succinctly lays out how the Left’s fury at losing the election and how their irrational hatred of Trump has blinded them to reason and the desire to compromise. The author also details how almost everything the president’s detractors have leveled at him has come full circle like a conservative boomerang.

Blitz also reveals how the Left illegally spied on the President and his staff, doxed his supporters, leaked damaging stories and classified information, met with leaders of foreign countries in efforts to undercut him, criticized the assassination of foreign terrorists who had killed American servicemen and women, and backdated FBI documents and whistleblower laws – all in an attempt to remove “Orange Man Bad” from office.

Horowitz calls the devastating effects of the Left’s relentless attacks on the country “incalculable.” However, he leaves readers on a positive note: “Fortunately, in 2016 Americans elected a leader who has been able to withstand these seditious attacks and steer the nation forward, making it more prosperous and stronger than ever before.”

The author caps his impressive work with an Afterword outlining The Nine Biggest Dangers to America from the Anti-Trump left and The Top Ten Lies Democrats Have Told.

New Reasons to Impeach the President

With each passing day it’s becoming more and more evident that the Impeachment or Bust strategy concocted by Adam Schiff-less, The Squawk Squad and Nancy Botoxi is a bigger bust than Dolly Parton’s.

Fear not though, the Wily E. Coyote Democrats have a lot more in their asine arsenal to go after the president.  When their Trump-talked-to-a foreign-leader-and-we’ve-got-nothing-else-so-he-has-to-be-impeached blows up again in their buggy-eyed faces, they’ll stubbornly insist on new grounds for impeachment.

Specifically, a Democrat think tank (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) has offered up five new reasons to unseat America’s duly-elected 45th president.

His Ties Are Too Long – at first glance this may seem like a “stretch,” but what better way for the Dems to hang the president on their own petard than with one of his signature neck ties.  As usual though, the Democrats are overreaching with their lame impeachment ploys, have tied themselves up in knots and are choking off any chance they have of winning in 2020.

Politically Incorrect Diet – here’s some food for thought: many leftists and NeverTrumpians think Donald J. Trump is a dolt, a dictator and a despot, but doggone it, they still expect him to parent and be an example for children regarding a healthy diet.

They also believe Trump is receiving illegal endorsement money from the fast food brands he consumes. Yo quiero, Taco Bell!

No Pets, No Regrets – President Trump is the first president in nearly 130 years to go sans-Doggy.  Most presidents have had at least one dog (notably Harry Truman and Bill Clinton but we’re referring to the four-legged variety), but President #45 has bucked that trend, probably because his media coverage has been meaner than a junk yard dog.

Also, he frequently entertains himself on Twitter with the dog-and-pony show offered by Democrats and NeverTrumpers.

Toilet Seat Commode-ion – Ever since former President Oblamo dictated that transgenders could use whichever gender’s restroom they identified with at the moment, America’s restrooms have been a commode of confusion, flushed of commonsense and sanity.

The Democrats argue President Trump has made the problem worse in the White House because he leaves the Oval Office toilet seat in the upright position to save time.  Since Democrats rarely think about saving time or taxpayer money, this is a “foreign” concept to them and obviously must be an impeachable offense.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow – Since Donald John Trump upset their globalism, one-world government apple cart, Democrats have torn their hair out seeking his impeachment. Regardless of the hair splitting needed to accomplish that, there is neither hide nor hair of any evidence he has broken the law.

Yet Trump’s ouster is constantly in their cross hairs.  Their ongoing efforts to destroy him has made a lot of Trump supporters’ hair stand on end, which only bonds the president and his followers closer together.

If the parade of 2020 Democrat presidential candidates is a clown car, their impeachment inquiry is a circus of virtue signaling.

National Review and Fox News Contributor Andy McCarthy said it best: “This is not an impeachment inquiry, it’s a show for TV.”

Random Thoughts Before the Election

Random thought #1: We need to start an annual awards show for those seeking their 15 minutes of fame by accusing political appointees of decades-old sex crimes.  The best worst accuser would be awarded a Blasey.

The Girl Who Cried Wolf

Random thought #2: Let’s get this straight: President Trump is blamed by the mainstream media and Democrats for motivating anti-Semite Robert Bowers murdering 11 Pittsburgh Jews while they prayed in their synagogue.

The fact that the president’s son-in-law and daughter are Jewish as are three of his grandchildren seems irrelevant to the illogical.

The baseless accusation is also odd considering the president fulfilled a longstanding promise to move our American embassy in Israel to Jersusalem and enjoys widespread support there for his pro-Israel policies. Heck, the Israelis even named a high-speed train station in Old Jersusalem for him.

You see, even Jews in Israel are climbing aboard the Trump train.

Haters Protesting Hate

Random thought #3: Democrat Florida gubernatorial nominee and former Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum has spun numerous excuses for his entanglement in a federal corruption probe, illegal acceptance of trips and taking free gifts from an undercover FBI agent.

When all else fails from those trying to hold him accountable, Gillum always falls back on the trusted Democrat anti-Trump card: “You’re a racist.”

An avowed socialist, hopefully this George Soros stooge and race card joker will be “trumped” by Floridian voters who see through his campaign nonsense.

Endorsement Hex?

Random thought #4: Republicans this fall have been running on the booming economy, increased consumer confidence and enforcing our immigration laws.

Democrats are running and whining on agitated resistance, in-your-face confrontations and interrupting thoughtful moments of silence with senseless harangues about American nationalism – in a house of worship.

And that’s just a preview of things to come if Democrats win Nov 6.

Naturally the media proclaims these agitators are merely exercising their free speech rights.  I doubt the media would feel that way if their telecasts were interrupted by MAGA shouting conservatives with bullhorns.

Methinks Thou Doth Protest Too Much

Random thought #5:

Hillary Clinton recently joked that all black men look alike and the mainstream media laughed at her obvious reference to a clichéd old stereotype. Ron DeSantis makes an offhand comment that if elected Florida governor Andrew Gillum would “monkey” things up and DeSantis is labeled a racist, a white nationalist and a bigot.

Think media bias is a figment of conservatives’ imagination?

In addition to the liberals boorish refusal to accept Donald Trump as the legitimately elected President of the United States two years after the election, they apparently are blind to their own hypocrisy.

Thanks for reading Dean Riffs. Welcome to those who love American liberty, free enterprise, and who believe God has blessed our country. For those who believe in open borders, safe spaces, and who think free speech is hate speech, move on – there’s nothing here for you to see.
