The late Walt Kelly’s comic strip character Pogo famously opined, “We have met the enemy, and he is us.” Bestselling author and political commentator David Horowitz proves Pogo’s point masterfully in his latest book, “Final Battle: The Next Election Could Be the Last.”

Horowitz asserts that the Democrat Party is the real danger to democracy as they continue chipping away at the foundation of our constitutional republic.

Alarmingly, they are closer to succeeding at remaking America than many realize.

Raised by Communist parents, Horowitz knows exactly where today’s progressives are steering America, and his book is a klaxon horn warning Americans the ship of state has passed the reefs of political fascism and is in serious danger of grounding itself on the shoals of a totalitarian future.

“When the president of the United States declares, as Joe Biden did in 2019, that ‘systemic racism…has been built into every aspect of our system,’ he is endorsing the anti-American radicalism of critical race theorists, Black Lives Matter activists, and cultural Marxists,” Horowitz writes.

Beginning with the questionable election results of the November 2020 election, Final Battle takes readers on an instructive tour of Democrat planned destruction designed to defame America’s history and traditions, undermine the integrity of our elections, politicize our government agencies, indoctrinate the military with mandatory critical race theory instruction, and obliterate our borders by granting noncitizens voting, welfare and healthcare privileges.

Final Battle indicts events of the last three years, including the Left’s impotent response to the Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots in the summer of 2020. It also addresses the faux J6 insurrection and the sham impeachments of Trump, noting that the House impeachment managers didn’t bother delivering the second impeachment charge to the Senate until five days after Trump left office.

“In other words, Democrats were intent on removing a private citizen from an office he no longer held. This made no sense except as a perverse expression of their obsessive hatred of the man himself,” Horowitz notes in Chapter 2.

Horowitz doesn’t mince words in Final Battle, mapping out in 11 economical chapters how citizens’ constitutional rights are frequently being undermined by politicians, bureaucrats, military leaders, federal courts, government health agencies and non-governmental organizations funded by radical financiers like George Soros and Tom Steyer.

“Culture matters. In their zeal to remake the world, Democrats have ignored the consequences of their actions and the human tragedies they have caused,” he writes on the open border crisis. Calling open borders “a terrible idea,” the authors adds, “No other country of consequence has them. In their zeal to gain political power, Democrats have grossly diminished the societies they govern and the lives in their care.”

In Chapter 7’s “Reimagining the World,” Horowitz reiterates the problem with progressives’ unrealistic plans: “The chief problem with utopian schemes: the detachment from reality that comes from replacing the lessons of experience with ideological dogmas.”

Horowitz not only torches liberal cows like Black Lives Matter and the Green Agenda, he also highlights names he blames for much of the unrest the past three years, including Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Granted special recognition for his hypocrisy and disloyalty to his oath of office is Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

Two examples Horowitz noted included Milley’s analogy of comparing Donald Trump to Adolph Hitler, and his flip flopping when Trump wanted to invoke the Insurrection Act when a Black Lives Matter mob torched the Church of the Presidents in Lafayette Square. Milley belittled Trump’s request, telling the president, “When guys show up in gray and start bombing Fort Sumter, you’ll have an insurrection. I’ll let you know about it,” Milley said.

Later when Biden and Nancy Pelosi referred to January 6 as an insurrection, Milley “remained dutifully and irresponsibility silent,” Horowitz quotes two Washington Post reporters.

“That such a confused, ignorant and fanatical individual is the head of America’s military forces ought to be deeply troubling to anyone concerned not only about civilian control of the military but the security of America itself,” Horowitz writes of the four-star general who helped mastermind America’s worst military event since Pearl Harbor.

Final Battle is buttressed by 34 pages of foot notes and is written in a format that is succinct, comprehensible and reads like a novel. Horowitz has again done America a favor defending it from forces working tirelessly to transform it into another failed utopian state.

Everywhere you look there are visuals of the Squawk Squad doing what they do best – squawking about pet peeves that they whine are endangering our constitutional liberties.

Here is a partial list:

  • Trump is acting like Hitler;
  • Trump is racist and is enabling racism;
  • Undocumented children are being held in cages;
  • Border Patrol and ICE are acting like Nazi concentration camp guards;
  • The country hasn’t passed the New Green Deal because Americans are racists;
  • Boycotting Israel is the same as boycotting Nazi Germany;
  • We need a $20 minimum wage to afford milk and eggs;
  • Taxpayer funded abortions should be made available to all illegal immigrants.

The last place I expected to see the Squirrely Squawk Squad was fundraising at a roadside stand but as we all know, these socialistic gal-pals will appear anywhere there are cameras and a crowd..

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was ready for her closeup – waving her arms like a loon, spouting economic gibberish and mauling World War II analogies.

Ilhan Omar was fantasizing about being Audrey Hepburn in a hijab and cursing Israel and President Trump.

Rashida Tlaib was stomping around shouting epithets and saying she was going to “impeach” the motherf#%$&#! every 10 words.

Ayanna Pressley – was denouncing black faces that don’t sound black and brown faces that don’t sound brown and white faces who always sound racist.

In their “Kookie” tent each member of the Scurrilous Squad had their own personalized cookie they were promoting:

Alexandria Opportunist-Coronado was pushing a graham cracker cookie covered in chocolate and marshmallow because she’s always wanting s’more and s’more of our money.

Incestuous Ilhan Omar was peddling camel caramel chocolate chip cookies (Don’t ask about the camel ingredient.)  She said cookies for Jewish and Christian customers came with a “Somali surprise” in lieu of chocolate chips, and a hint of sea salt reflecting her spicy Somali personality.

Rashida #$%#%^! Tlaib favored a tangy lemon-iced cookie powdered with hummus, olive oil and Palestinian pine nuts.  Each cookie contained a fortune: a favorite Tlaib Palestinian epithet.

Aryan Pressley raved about her skinny cookie which was a round, mint-flavored cookie coated in chocolate. Pressley’s cookie had a special ingredient:  a Boston Bean extract that conjured hallucinations that make Pressley sound like Oprah Winfrey when speaking in public.

Cookie prices were available in three tiers:

Undocumented immigrants – FREE
Brothers and Sisters of Color – Whatever you can afford
White skinned and tanned Caucasians – $5 per cookie or $65 a dozen.  NO CRACKER CHECKS!

The Mob Squad sold all their cookies before noon when a PBS limousine spotted them, bought all their inventory and announced plans to give single boxes away in their next fundraiser to donors pledging $500 or more.

RU Smarter Than the Squawk Squad?

Are you smarter than a frosh congressperson?

Four progressive congresswomen who believe their mandate is to continue the Obama legacy of “transforming America” are pushing their party so far to the left, it’s in danger of reshaping the Democrat Party as a keto-free Cuba (low carb savings with lots of high fat government spending.)

Affectionally labeled “The Squad” by the mainstream media and “The Squawk Squad” by real journalists, its members include: 

  • Somali immigrant and anti-Constitutionalist Ilhan Omar who immigrated here as a teen and now pines for the peace and tranquility of her native Somalia;
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a former Brooklyn bartender who became a socialist because she likes using social media;
  • Rashida Talib, a Palestinian from Michigan who can out-cuss the entire U.S. Navy and pledged to impeach President Trump her first day in Congress, and;
  • Ayanna Pressley, the newest squad member who says we need to beg forgiveness from those coming here illegally for detaining them during processing.

True or false: Minnesota Democrat Representative Representative Omar, who allegedly committed immigration fraud by marrying her gay brother, along with passport fraud, campaign fraud and tax fraud by claiming to be married to someone else while married to her brother, recently warned President Donald Trump, “I am fighting corruption in OUR country?”

True or false: New York Democrat Representative Alexandria Ocrisis-Catastrophe said this: “I think that there’s a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually and semantically correct than about being morally right.”

The S.S. Democrat is Sinking

Mark the week of March 4 on your calendars as the day the Democrat party hit a political iceberg – a titanic one.

First, bartender turned socialist broken record Alexandria Or Else Communista continued her dogged opposition to cow farts and the banning of airplanes outlined in her climate change fantasy New Green Deal.

More recently “The Boss” tagged Ronald Reagan as a racist “screwing over working class Americans,” said Americans without jobs are left to die, and just today accused the CEO of Wells-Fargo of financing human rights abuses and environmental disasters.

Next, Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar, the Somali-American that moved to Minneapolis’ Little Mogadishu district as a teenager, continued to inadvertently stump for President Trump and Republicans recapturing the House with anti-Semitic slurs that would make Nazis dead and alive proud.

Her comment last week that Jews supporting Israel have dual allegiance was met with immediate expulsion from the influential House Foreign Affairs Committee and unanimous censor by her fellow Democrats.

Just kidding.

Actually San Fran Nan and the Democrat leadership folded faster than a circus tent in a F-5 tornado.

Not only was Omar not mentioned by name in the bill her hateful words forced the Dems to write, she was allowed to help write the legislation condemning hate in all its hateful forms.

In short, H. Res 183 “Encourages all public officials to confront the reality of anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism, and other forms of bigotry, as well as historical struggles against them.”

It’s doubtful that this scatter gun condemnation of hate will comfort nervous Jewish constituents since it was their allegiance and theirs alone she questioned.

The bill also warns the following forms of hate will not be tolerated:

“Whereas white supremacists in the United States have exploited and continue to exploit bigotry and weaponize hate for political gain, targeting traditionally persecuted peoples, including African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other people of color, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, the LGBTQ community, immigrants, and others with verbal attacks, incitement, and violence.”

Whew – that’ll certainly come in handy when those bigoted Southern Baptists clinging to their guns and Bibles spread their intolerance and hate during an anti-Islamic jihad call to prayer in Everytown, USA.

Or when fascist Christian bakers refuse to cater a LGBTQ wedding between a visual and hearing challenged one-legged transgender ex-nun marrying zir’s German Shepherd-Shih Tzu mix.

With Democrat firebrands like Omar and Occasionally-Cognizant spewing such sophistry, #Trump 2020 is all but guaranteed.

End of Government Shutdown Near?

This just in to our news desk: Federal employees affected by the longest government shutdown in history may soon be going back to work.

Sources close to secret discussions between Republicans, Democrats and President Donald Trump say an agreement may be near at hand.

The parties are reportedly close to reaching an agreement on the president’s request for $5.7 billion to construct a border wall.  Surprisingly, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has agreed to the president’s request on just two conditions:

1) President Trump will give New York frosh Democrat Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez an ambassadorial appointment – preferably somewhere far away from the 116th Congress. Pelosi herself is reportedly suggesting Nepal or central Cambodia.

2) President Trump will use his extensive business connections to persuade Burger King to name Rep Rashida Tlaib, the freshman Democrat from Michigan, as their national spokesperson for their Bacon King burger.

Tlaib has also been mentioned as a possible spokesperson for Purina dog food and Holy Land tour guide groups.

Her new job would require frequent travel to different continents and days on location in exotic venues like Aleppo, Syria;  Tripoli, Libya and Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Sources noted that Speaker Pelosi approached the president via back channels, surprising Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer whose office was not consulted on the new development. 

A Schumer spokesperson confessed the New York senator was initially “miffed” at not being consulted, but agreed that Pelosi’s actions were understandable considering Representatives Ocasio-Cortez and Tlaib were “special” elected officials with wide ranging talents.

Pelosi just had this to say through her spokesperson: 

“We feel it would be selfish to deny these two gifted females the unique opportunities available to them.  We wish them the best of success in their new ventures, and hope they will bring the same initiative and vision to their new responsibilities as they did during their short time in the 116th Congress.”

Dems Pin Hopes on a Latina Lodestar

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the Latina gift that keeps on giving – to Republicans.

Since upsetting 20-year-incumbent Joe Crowley in New York’s June primary, the avowed Democratic-Socialist has become the darling of progressives and in the words of DNC chair Thomas Perez, the future of the Democrat party.

Wait a sec. President Trump recently said that Maxine Waters is the face of that party, so Ms. Cortez must be the post-face lift face of the Democrat Party.  Regardless, to quote yet another Democrat face: “What difference does it make?”

Since the 28-year-old Latina first came to the nation’s attention, she has demonstrated the political acumen of a 7th-grade social studies student and the oratorical skills of former Vice-President and longtime former Delaware senator “Crazy Uncle” Joe Biden.

For instance, when recently asked by a PBS host about what she meant by the occupation of Palestine, she said this:

Surely her comment about not being a geopolitical expert was self-deprecating humor since she majored in international relations and economics at Boston University.

It must have been an interesting economics class at BU what with all the talk about “no holds barred, Wild West, hyper-capitalism.”

Further demonstrating her grasp of how the economy works, she had this to say about the record low unemployment numbers under Trump.

“The unemployment rate is low because everyone has two jobs. Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week,” Ms. Ocasio-Cortez said during her PBS interview.

Guess we need to revise the bumper sticker that says “My Labrador is Smarter Than Your Honor Roll Student” to read “My Labrador is Smarter Than Your Millennial Grad. ”

And finally there was Alexandria the Great’s recent appearance stumping with that curmudgeonly Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders in Kansas. In the clip the Democrat diva said she and Bernie were there to help flip the state red.

Apparently Boston University offers primary colors art courses in their curriculum, too.

Whatever color Ocasio-Cortez flips, Democrats should know that embracing socialist candidates like her mean the Democrat Party isn’t in Kansas anymore.
