<\/p>\nHave you heard this one? \u00a0President Richard Nixon\u2019s legacy \u2013 man walks on the moon. Former President Barack Obama\u2019s legacy \u2013 man identifying as a woman walks into the women\u2019s restroom.<\/p>\n

Until Obama the thought of a man walking into a women\u2019s restroom for the purpose of answering nature\u2019s call was considered indecent if not illegal. Today, gender dysphoria is considered chic.<\/p>\n
All this talk about who can and can’t use the women’s restroom is like society has flushed commonsense and propriety down the cultural commode.<\/p>\n
Gender dysphoria is the latest cause c\u00e9l\u00e8bre among those that believe gender is a selective option<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 like choosing factory installed equipment on a Toyota Prius.<\/p>\n Those that think gender identity trumps biological anatomy aren\u2019t suffering from gender dysphoria, but gender dyslexia.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Confusing gender dysphoria and gender dyslexia is understandable. \u00a0Both are mental disorders characterized by an inability to recognize words or in the case of the latter, biological gender.<\/p>\n Gender dyslectics often confuse words like “boys,” “girls,” “men” and “women” with words like “bi-gendered,” “gender non-conforming,” “tamale” and “tree skirt”.<\/p>\n This whole \u201ccommodetion\u201d about transgenders and bathrooms became a hot seat issue when former North Carolina Gov Pat McCrory signed the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act in March of 2016.\u00a0 State legislators passed the law in reaction to a Charlotte city ordinance extending civil rights protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/p>\n Sounds innocuous enough \u2013 until you realize the Charlotte law designed to \u201cprotect\u201d the .003 percent of the population that was transgender also allowed men in government buildings to shower and urinate in the same room as little girls and grandmothers.\u00a0 Bye-bye, privy privacy.<\/p>\n Prior to Charlotte city officials starting the transgender toilet tirade, the use of public restrooms was simple. \u00a0There were two rooms designated \u201cmen\u201d and \u201cwomen\u201d \u2013 period. That arrangement had worked just fine since the outhouse came inside.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Other than women\u2019s \u201ccommodious\u201d restrooms having longer lines to use them, better mirrors and I suspect better feng shui, all was well in toilet water world.<\/p>\n Enter the LGBT community. Suddenly the conventional wisdom espoused in Genesis 1:27 was viewed as hate speech and discriminatory. \u201cSo God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male<\/em> and female<\/em> he created them.\u201d<\/p>\n
