Making America Great Again means reversing the propagation of political correctness sowed wantonly by Barack Obama. In his historic address to Congress Feb 28th, President Trump gave hope to millions that it\u2019s time to close down the tar pit of PC-think.<\/p>\n
Here are five examples of PC trends that President Trump will have to slay in order to Make America Great Again.<\/p>\n
Microagressions <\/strong><\/p>\n What an emotional romper room of faux outrage<\/strong><\/a> and childish manipulation. Don\u2019t like the co-worker who wears a cross to work? Complain to human resources that you are offended by their religious extremism.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t like rap music? It\u2019s because you\u2019re racist, but say you like rap and you\u2019ll be accused of misappropriating urban culture.<\/p>\n As Weekly Standard<\/em> Senior Editor Andrew Ferguson recently wrote, microaggression research \u201chas been a daisy-chain of confirmation bias rather than a rigorous pursuit of scientific truth,\u201d yet college campuses are awash in victimization and handwringing worry about unintentionally causing offense.<\/p>\n Safe Spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n Anyone who believes in the psychological mirage of safe spaces is also a good bet to have spent considerable class time since Trump\u2019s victory kneading Play-Doh.<\/p>\n Thanks to Obama\u2019s lax immigration policies and his refusal to acknowledge the true threat of Islamic fundamentalism, there are no safe spaces \u2013 anywhere. It\u2019s time to put down the puppies and popsicles<\/strong><\/a> and face the facts: radical Islamists hate America, and they would like nothing better than to kill American infidels in any safe place of their choosing.<\/p>\n Sanctuary Cities<\/strong><\/p>\n Sanctuary cities are like safe spaces for illegals. These cities collect millions of dollars in federal funding while blatantly thumbing their nose at federal law.<\/p>\n Isn\u2019t it ironic that thousands of pajama-clad college kids<\/strong><\/a>, progressive politicians and even churches support sanctuary cities while hundreds of thousands of their fellow citizens are less safe because illegals accused of major crimes take refuge in them?<\/p>\n This callous disregard for federal guidelines must end, and early indications are this administration intends to fiscally punish cities that think they can pick and choose which federal laws they will follow and which they\u2019ll ignore.<\/p>\n Transgender restrooms<\/strong><\/p>\n Political discourse on gender issues has been in the toilet since PC advocates joyfully flushed commonsense and potty propriety down the commode.<\/p>\n A couple of years ago the thought of a man walking into a women\u2019s restroom for the purpose of answering nature\u2019s call was considered indecent. Today, gender dysphoria is considered chic.
