Nike Couldn’t Fill Betsy Ross’s Shoes

Colin Kaepernick may have once been a NFL superstar quarterback, but since 2016 and his refusal to stand for the national anthem, he is better known as a dissenting American “satriot.”

What is a “satriot?” A word I made up like Kaepernick and his ilk make up grievances. A satriot is someone who think of themselves as an American patriot but they don’t have a leg to stand on – so to speak.

In other words, they “sit out” from participating in any activity that may be seen as patriotic and celebrates America.

For example, standing for the Star Spangled Banner. Or respectfully observing patriotic holidays like the Fourth of July that honor America and give us reasons to unite as one people.

Another example of satriotism would be wearing socks that portray police officers as pigs.

Kaepernick recently took an image association test and Dean Riffs was lucky enough to obtain the results of the only Scat Francisco QB to lose a Super Bowl.

When shown an image of thousands of people standing for the Star Spangled Banner, Krapernick said he saw, “Police oppressing black people and other people of color.”

Next Kraperniche was shown the original American flag consisting of 13 stars against a deep blue circle. The former NFL QB who was benched after going 1-10 in his last season said he saw a racist symbol associated with slavery.

Considering Betsy Ross, the flag’s creator, was a devout Quaker, no one will mistake Kap Kangaroo as an American historian. Quakers openly opposed slavery and Ross was known throughout Philadelphia as a fervent abolitionist.

Finally, Colinoscopy was shown an image of former slave and famous abolitionist Frederick Douglass meeting with President Abraham Lincoln in the White House.

“Sellout,” was the term Kaepernike used to describe Douglass. “Uncle Tom!” “Vanilla Ice wannabe!!” he spat out.

So here’s the deal: Nike pulled a holiday-themed shoe featuring a nice image of Americana based on the subjective opinion of a social justice soldier whose sole branding strategy is controversy and grievance.

Where thousands of potential customers saw a nostalgic, patriotic special-edition pair of kicks, many will now view the Betsy Ross flag pulled by “woke” Nike as a controversial symbol of racism and malice – thanks to Nike’s multi-million dollar spokesperson who sees minority oppression and social injustice wherever he looks.

Nice job, colic Collin.

What will Nike and their whiny spokesperson do when neo-Nazis, KKK members or normal Americans who they like to call “white nationalists” wear the Nike swoosh, the “Just Do It” shirts and assorted Nike sneakers out in public? Or God forbid, at a Trump rally!

Are they going to give those they disagree with millions of dollars in free publicity by crying foul over the misappropriation of Nike apparel?

It will be karma to see them freak out when the Nike shoe is on the other foot.

Diversity is Fool’s Gold Patriotism

What’s the opposite of American exceptionalism? The Democrat party.

Whoops, that was a Freudian slip. What I meant to say was that the identity politics Democrats practice is antithetical to American exceptionalism.

For years liberals and progressives have preached the gospel of inclusivity and diversity. (I mention both groups to be more inclusive and diverse.)

From the left’s skewed perspective, what makes America great are our differences: race, skin pigment, religion, biological gender (real or imagined), gender identity, (always imagined if different from biological gender), sexual orientation (often misguided), national origin and age .

On the other hand, conservatives believe subordinating those qualities that make us different and melding them into a synthesis of Americanism is what makes our country exceptional.

In a word, unity is the preferred ideal and the embodiment of American exceptionalism.

Having people of different backgrounds and ethnicities focus on a shared cause and purpose has always been the American way. This is often referred to as the melting pot.

Liberals view America not as a melting pot, but as a smelting vat.

To listen to their messaging, the left believes celebrating our differences and favoring various groups over others is what makes America unique.

They regurgitate hackneyed responses accentuating those differences -Trump hates brown people and uses Central American children as kiddie caddies at his golf resorts – to create enthusiasm with Democrat voters but there’s a problem: their pandering is fool’s gold patriotism.

Comrade Bernie Sanders wants Medicare for all, free college tuition and forgiveness of over a trillion dollars in student debt. Spartacus Booker and Kamala “Tupak” Harris want slave reparations.

Fauxahontas Warren wants tax reparations for gays because gay marriage was only legalized a few years ago.

Pete “No Mas Pence” Buttigieg wants to reverse the ban on transgenders in the military and “Hair Sniffer” Biden wants to legalize naps in the workplace.

The Democrat primary is becoming a game of who can give away more tax dollars to satisfy the most “gimmes” with their hands-out.

The problem for 2020 Democrat primary candidates though is there aren’t enough reparations, quotas, exemptions and set-asides to feed all the different tribes they’re hustling.

By the time the “gimmes” figure that out, the 2020 Democrat clown circus is going to implode on its own combustion.

It’s a fine line separating acute Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers from leftists that are bat guano crazy on their own. Below are three recent examples:

Staying Abreast of Climate Change

Recently The Gateway Pundit reported on a climate change protester who glued her breasts to the ground in front of the Goldman Sachs building in London.

According to reports she was part of a group protesting corporations’ “role in our collective suicide.” Not sure what gluing her female anatomy to the pavement has to do with climate change and corporate greed, but guess it was the breast she could do.

Whatever your opinion on climate change, no one can say this woman didn’t have skin in the game.

Castigating Men for Abortions

Illinois Democrat State Representative Diane Pappas thinks she has found a clever way to prevent mass abortions: castrate men and charge to store their sperm until such time when they are ready to begin a family.

“If we allowed men to be castrated, took the sperm to the bank, collected tax dollars on it for storage, then when it’s time, to have the man decide he’s ready to begin a family…well then problem is solved,” she said brightly of her abortion solution.

Talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water!

Ms. Pappas’ solution is a bit like pruning trees by chopping them down or getting to zero unemployment by outlawing work.

Thus far the only support for Ms. Pappas’ plan is from a Saudi Arabian transvestite soccer team and the gals on The View.

College Mascot Victim of Students Hatchet Attack

The student body at George Washington University recently voted to remove George the Colonial as the school’s mascot.

According to 54 percent of the student body voting on an issue generated by a petition containing just 500-plus signatures, George Washington isn’t considered inclusive enough to represent the school named for him.

Campus Reform reported that a GW Student Association senator said that “school spirit is something that should be based on equality.” Because the general of the Continental Army, our first president, and the Father of our Country was a slave owner, he has been judged unworthy and persona non grata by today’s pajama-clad arbiters of morality.

It’s unknown how many students who voted to remove George the Colonial as mascot have burned their $1 bills with Washington’s image in protest, or why they may replace him with… a hippopotamus. I’m not kidding.

In my opinion a better choice as a GW mascot would be George Orwell or Tommy Taliban. The former was a master at manipulating language as a weapon of mind control, and the latter believes in destroying anything they find offensive.

Democrats Say the Darnedest Things

Long before camcorders and America’s Funniest Home Videos, radio and TV personality Art Linkletter used to host a show called, “Kids Say the Darnedest Things.”

Today it is Democrat presidential candidates saying the “darnedest” things, and while some candidates are older than others, all are old enough to know better than to say the darnedest things they’ve been saying.

Bernie Sanders

America’s best known socialist Bernie Sanders has added another wacko herb to his socialism stew by supporting the right of murderers, rapists, violent offenders and terrorists to vote.

“I believe even if they are in jail, they’re paying the price to society, that should not take away their inherent American right to participate in our democracy,” he said recently.

What about those Americans permanently disenfranchised because they were killed by those Bernie wants to give the right to vote? Last I looked the right not to be murdered is an ‘inherent American right’ too.

Elizabeth Warren

Everyone’s favorite Native American wannabe recently proposed forgiving the student loan debt of 95 percent of those owing on college loans.

When announcing her plan Lieawatha said it “helps millions of families and removes a weight that’s holding back our economy.”

But wait, does she speak with a forked tongue – again?

The Brookings Institution reports under Sitting Baloney’s plan, the majority of those benefiting from the loan forgiveness program would be the nation’s highest earners.

Specifically, the top 20 percent of the highest income households would receive about 27 percent of all annual savings, and the top 40 percent about 66 percent.

The bottom 20 percent of borrowers by income would get only 4 percent of the savings.

Why would Pocahontas devise a plan favoring the richest students? And what of those students saddled with debt before the launch of the Pocahontas Penury Plan? Will they be eligible for ‘tuition reparations’ or Starbucks gift cards?

Kamala Harris

California senator Kamala Harris said at a recent town hall sponsored by CNN (Collusion News Network):

“There are people in Washington, D.C., supposed leaders, who have failed to have the courage to reject a false choice which suggests you’re either in favor of the second amendment or you want to take everyone’s guns away.”

She then promised that if Congress failed to act on gun control in her first 100 days as president, she would sign an executive order overriding the Second Amendment and forcibly take guns away from those she doesn’t think should have them.

Read my lips: When a Democrat says we need ‘common sense’ regulations and ‘reasonable gun safety laws’, that always means banning guns.

Only Kamala Harris or any of the other 300 Democrats running for president in 2020 would support the rights of prison felons and terrorists over the rights of legal gun owners guaranteed in the Second Amendment of the Constitution.

Couple their enthusiasm for prisoners’ voting rights with their publicly expressed support for infanticide, the Green New Deal and open borders and voila – Democrats have a winning platform!

Go and run on that platform Democrats – America will love you for it!

Democrats Double Down on Stupid

Since the Mueller report shipwrecked in Collusionville last month, the Democrat party is behaving more absurdly than usual.

The growing number of libs acting loony has exceeded the available life preservers of reason and logic aboard the S.S. Stupid.

Conservative commentator and political activist Candace Owens was recently accused of being a white nationalist by California Democrat representative Ted Lieu.

Earth to Ted: Candace Owens is black.

Trump administration senior presidential advisor Stephen Miller was accused of being a Nazi by Minnesota Democrat representative Ilham Omar.

This was undoubtedly a surprise to his parents and rabbi since Miller is Jewish.

And that’s not all Omar said recently. Last month she claimed before a Muslim gathering that Muslims lost their civil liberties after 9-11 because “some people did something.”

That’s like an American Cousin patron at the Ford Theater in 1865 whining about a ticket refund because all the hubbub about Lincoln being shot ruined the show.

Omar said last month at a Council on American Islamic Relations fundraiser it was hard to say what they did, or why they did it, but random Muslims woke up one morning and decided to do what they did and, because of that, “all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”

It takes chutzpah for a Muslim activist to play the victim card when recalling the horrific deaths of almost 3,000 people in the worst terrorism incident in American history. Not to mention describing that tragedy as a mere annoyance akin to the neighbor’s dog barking all night.

Finally, in a hearing of the House Banking Committee April 10, committee chair Maxine Waters asked some of the nation’s bankers to testify about what they were doing to help college students being crushed by student loan debt.

Apparently no one told Mad Max that the administration of student loans was nationalized by the Obama administration.

In 2010.

Meaning the banks Mad Max wanted to castigate for student loan debt have not offered student loans for a decade.

That would seem to be important information for the chairman of a committee overseeing the nation’s banks to know.

As we’ve known for many years now though, Mad Max is in serious need of a capital infusion in her smarts account. When it comes to truth, facts, and commonsense, she’s running a responsibility deficit and her accountability credit is gravely overdrawn.

Are Democrats On the Take, On the Border?

Border patrols agents recommend it. Ranchers and law enforcement officials in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas want it. The president promised it and a majority of Americans support it.

So why now are all Democrats and some squishy Republicans adamant in their opposition to a wall on our southern border?

The easy answer is Democrats need new voters to replace the moderate Dems and independents they have lost with their wacky policies.

Conversely, Republicans want low-skilled workers to satisfy their corporate lobbyists who want to increase profits by paying lower wages to their employees.

Could there be another reason though, for politicians’ unwillingness to yield on their refusal to provide a border wall that would inarguably cut down on crime, drug running, human trafficking, child molestations and exploding welfare rolls?

In May, 2016 Nancy Pelosi, a former Speaker of the House at the time and current Speaker, visited Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto along with Democrat Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, Democrat Representative Henry Cuellar, and other congress critters.

Of the 11 elected officials on the trip, two were Republicans and nine were Democrats. The two Republicans taken for a ride south of the border provided Pelosi cover to tell the media it was a bipartisan group of lawmakers involved.

The nine Democrats participating in the junket to Mexico were from border states California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. The two Republicans represented districts over a thousand miles from Mexico but no doubt enjoyed their time in the sun toasting each other’s bipartisanship.

The purpose of the trip? According to the Rio Grande Guardian, Pelosi claimed the purpose was to “express our respect for the people of Mexico and the country of Mexico; to acknowledge our shared border and our shared values and to learn more about how we can work together for the bright future for not only our two countries but for our hemisphere.”

Uh, huh. Here’s another reason: What about a substantial bribe of drug cartel money to buy Democrat opposition to a wall and to keep the drugs and illegal immigration flowing faster than the Rio Grande after a flash flood.

Fact: Alex Cifuentes, reportedly a close associate of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán for years, told a New York City courtroom in 2016 that he had told authorities that El Chapo had offered President Nieto a $100 million bribe in 2016 – the same year Pelosi and her posse came calling.

Today Guzmán was found guilty on all counts by a Brooklyn jury. He faces a lifetime sentence behind bars and will be sentenced June 25.

Fact: Just a few years ago Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer agreed our southern border needed a wall. Now most Dems argue that such a wall is not only unnecessary, but some like Pelosi claim a border wall is “immoral.”

Why the about-face?

Are we safer now? Are there less drugs flowing into the country? Are there fewer criminal illegals crossing our border? Are there fewer crimes committed by illegals? Has the gang problem with groups like MS-13 been eradicated?

Fact: Former Democrat and current Trump supporter Jeffrey Peterson has been very clear why he believes Democrats oppose building the border wall – because they are being paid by the Mexican drug cartels.

Peterson told the The Gateway Pundit last month that the only way President Trump will ever get his border wall is by declaring a national emergency because the Democrat party has been bought and paid for by Mexican drug cartels.

If this theory sounds wackier than an Alexandria Ocrazio-Commie economic blueprint, consider this:

Democrats oppose Trump’s plans for a border wall, they oppose Border Patrol recommendations asking for a wall, they oppose law enforcement enforcing existing immigration law, they oppose ICE operating in sanctuary cities and they even oppose the very existence of ICE as part of our Homeland Security strategy.

Everything the Democrats support benefits Mexico, Central America and the drug cartels. Democrat inaction on the border also allows human trafficking and sexual slavery to continue, all while the Democrats incessantly promote illegals’ rights over those of American citizens.

If not bribes by the Mexican cartels to ignore the crisis on the border, why else do Democrats continue to blatantly defy the will of the American people?

Why else do they ignore commonsense solutions to protect the national interest at their own political peril unless their party has been paid to look the other way?

Nothing else makes sense, and you can bet Democrats’ refusal to #BuildTheWall is making Nancy Pelosi and her border hombres mucho dinero.

House Dems Need Clown Car

The Democrats of the 116th Congress were sworn into office January 3, and the only thing missing from the spectacle was a clown car and laugh track.

Based on their heralded diversity and socialism proclivities, we knew the special day would be ripe with bombast and bonhomie, but truth be told, their unhinged zealotry exceeded our expectations.

AN OATH FOR AN OAF
Arizona Democrat frosh Kyrsten Sinema chose to swear an oath to the Constitution on a law book rather than the Holy Bible.

Sinema is the only congressional lawmaker who claims no religious affiliation. Spokesman John LaBombard claimed her choice to refrain from using a Bible to take her oath of office was just business as usual for the newly-minted senator that once called Arizonans “crazy.”

She is also one of only two senators with LGBTQ sexual orientation. Conceivably this could give Sinema some advantage when the so-called moderate straddles the fence on important issues facing our country.

IMPROVE BORDER SECURITY – EXPAND ABORTION!
Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats wasted no time their first day addressing an immediate solution to the government shutdown over President Trump’s request for a border wall. Their recommendation?

Expand abortion access worldwide by lifting the ban on non-governmental groups from providing and promoting abortions worldwide.

Nancy “A Wall is Immoral” Pelosi

One would think building a wall to improve border security would be easier and more humane, but apparently Democrats believe sucking the life from babies in the womb is less immoral than building a physical structure protecting America’s borders.

PROFANE – NOT COLORFUL

Tart-tongued Michigan frosh Rep Rashida Tlaib, one of two Muslim women sworn in last week, illustrated her inclusivity and warmth when she told a group of supporters, “We’re going to impeach the motherf&*%#$.

This is what she reportedly told her son what Democrats were going to do to the president once his Mama was sworn in.

Who could forgive her son’s confusion if one day he’s elected as an officer to the Student Council and yells similar epithets at the school principal swearing him in.

SPEAKING OF COLORFUL…

Freshman Virginia Representative Jennifer Wexton thought it would be nice to show her true colors and demonstrate solidarity with the transgender community by flying the transgender pride flag outside her Congressional office.

Wexton isn’t transgender, but she has a niece who is and one of her hall mates is Danica Roem, the nations’s first openly transgender person to serve in any U.S. state legislature.

The transgender flag consists of five horizontal stripes: two blue, two pink, and one white. What flag did Wexton’s transgender flag replace? The black and white POW/MIA flag honoring veterans who were – or are – missing in action.

Swapping a decades-old flag commemorating America’s veterans in the People’s House with a flag honoring people confused as to which bathroom to use seems misguided at best and insulting at worst.

Not to mention Wexton has an estimated 60,000 former military members working civilian jobs in her congressional district, and an untold number of active duty military.

Time will tell how voters react to Wexton’s change of colors, but the anecdotes above are just four examples of alt-left Democrats showing their mistaken priorities. And that was just their first day!

Minnesota Professor Calls God a Predator

Which came first – the chicken or the egghead professor?

A Minnesota State University professor has launched the latest salvo in the annual war on Christmas and the newest fusillade of the #MeToo movement by asserting that God “preyed” on Mary by impregnating her without her consent.

Suffice it to say if Associate Psychology and Sexual Studies professor Dr. Eric Sprankle had been present at the birth of Christ, he would not have been mistaken for one of the wise men.

On December 3 the sacrilegious professor tweeted, “The virgin birth story is about an all-knowing, all-powerful deity impregnating a human teen. There is no definition of consent that would include that scenario. Happy Holidays.”

Aside from his faulty premise about Mary’s lack of consent (Luke 1:38), why would “Spanky” think that the Creator of the world would need His creation’s permission to do anything?

When someone on Twitter pointed out that Mary gave her consent to the angel, the Minnesota “sexpert” doubled down on his blasphemy by tweeting:

“The biblical god regularly punished disobedience. The power difference (deity vs mortal) and the potential for violence for saying ‘no’ negates her ‘yes.’ To put someone in this position is an unethical abuse of power at best and grossly predatory at worst.”

It’s bad enough that secularists try to remove Christmas observances from the public square and mock Christians for their beliefs, but with his latest social media pronouncement this sex-obsessed Satanist clown (he reportedly brags about a Pentagram on top of his Christmas tree) arrogantly insists on lecturing God about right or wrong.

Using the professor’s own logic, any professor who sleeps with his or her students and is responsible for their grades and advancement is guilty of an unethical abuse of power at best and is grossly predatory at worst.

But why go there in the conversation when you can haughtily use Christmas as an excuse to give God the middle finger and show the world how enlightened you are as a higher education naysayer.

I don’t have a PhD in psychology or sex therapy, but if it was up to me this Christmas-hating professor should do community service in a live nativity scene where he could do what he does best – play the braying donkey.

As Ronald Reagan once said, “The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant, it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”

Snipes Hunting for Broward County Votes

This just in to our Dean Riff’s news desk: Florida officials have announced their recount is complete and the winner of the Bill Nelson-Rick Scott Senate seat is…Al Gore.

Broward County Supervisor of Elections Dr. Brenda Snipes and her team of ballot marauders have been “snipe hunting” for missing ballots since the polls closed Election Day, but unlike most snipe hunters they’ve been pretty successful with their fantasy hunt.

Since November 6 Dr. Brenda’s team has managed to find lost ballots nearly every day. It’s like an Easter egg hunt and every new ballot box they find is like a Cadbury egg – for Democrats.

Reportedly members of Dr. Brenda’s team have found ballots in the most unusual places: mostly though, in the back of rented Enterprise trucks delivering dozens of ballot boxes in the dead of night.

This most recent election isn’t the first time Snipes has been involved in illegal and questionable activity. During her 15-year supervisory position her activities reads like a textbook of election office “never do’s.” For example:

She violated federal law in the 2016 election by destroying ballots 10 months earlier than allowed;

That same year she violated federal election law by posting primary results before polls closed;

In that same election she omitted posting an important state referendum on some ballots, and in 2012 her office “discovered” almost 1,000 ballots – a week after the election;

Also in 2016 she was reprimanded for opening and sorting tens of thousands of mail-in ballots without the necessary supervision;

Snipes has also been accused of firing a staffer who witnessed her and her staff illegally filling in ballots in a back room;

She allegedly has also allowed felons and illegal immigrants to vote and helped them illegally submit their ballots. In short, Snipes is the Hello Dolly of Election Folly.

With that pedigree I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s not on the Democrat short list of 2020 presidential candidates.

So why should those of us in flyover country clinging to our guns and religion care about the blatant election corruption happening in Florida?

Because stealing elections nullifies the voice and will of the people, and if elections can be “flipped” after the ballots are counted, it debases the entire democratic process.

Remember the phrase, “Elections have consequences?” Not if Democrats have their way.

Consider this: what if the “discovered” ballots and recounts occurring in Florida, Georgia, Arizona, California and other states are a trial run to see how much fraud will be tolerated before the 2020 presidential election?

What if Dr. Brenda Snipes skates again on these most recent abuses and is still counting ballots in Broward County in 2020?

Citizens are Pawns in Immigration Chess

The body of 20-year-old University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts was found August 21 in a remote Iowa cornfield following a month-long search.

The Democrats don’t realize it yet, but since that tragic discovery, their chances of winning this November succumbed in that same field where Mollie Tibbetts’ body was covered over by corn leaves.

Enough is enough.

I can hear the Democrat whining now: “The Republicans are politicizing Mollie Tibbetts’ death. Have they no shame?”

The Republicans aren’t politicizing the senseless tragedy of Mollie Tibbetts, but Democrats and progressives are politicizing the policies that got her killed. The Dems are telling everyone that will listen that they stand for open borders, amnesty and the elimination of ICE.

When 24-year-old illegal immigrant Cristhian Bahena Rivera was charged with Mollie’s murder the same day after leading authorities to her body, America got a sneak peek at America’s future if the Dems return to power.

An illustrative, stark sneak peek less than 80 days before the mid-term elections.

Republicans and Democrats deserve equal blame for our current patchwork quilt of insane border enforcement policies, but it’s the Democrat party alone who is now demanding open borders and generous amnesty policies.

As the citizen victim count rises and yet another innocent American is marked as a casualty of our shortsighted open borders policy, it’s becoming more and more apparent that the Democrat party values open borders and unfettered immigration more than they do the safety of Americans.

Presumably Democrats would prefer achieving unrestricted immigration without the mess of involuntary casualties, but what the heck – you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, right? If a ballooning body count of a few dead Americans is the price for replacing their dwindling base of voters, it’s a price Democrats are obviously willing to pay.

Got a problem with that? Then you’re a racist and xenophobe and should be deported yourself.

The Constitution says two of the federal government’s most important responsibilities are securing the nation’s borders and protecting the citizenry.

The heartbreaking death of Mollie Tibbetts is just another example of how they are failing to do either.
